Transition Spain was more of a cultural experience for me. I had a decent level of Spanish and could communicate well, so my time in Granada allowed me to learn and appreciate a new culture. From touring around Granada on segways, visiting the Alhambra, to going skiing in Sierra Nevada, I personally enjoyed all of the little things in between just as much or even more. The conversations I shared with my host grandmother, movies I watched and games that I played with the three kids in my host family and even the trips to the supermarket were memories that I cherish most. I tried a wide variety of new foods and my schedule became very different. Eating at 10 o'clock was not something I was used to, but I adapted very quickly into what felt like a second home. Overall I enjoyed my time with Transition Spain and appreciate all of the people I met along the way.
