The excellent administration and good-humoured support from the camp staff were evident from day one. They ensured our son felt comfortable and settled, and any concerns were addressed with responsiveness and genuine care. It was very reassuring to know the team was always accessible and proactive. Beyond the excellent classes, the camp team was great at making learning Spanish fun and inclusive leading to new friendships and a significant boost in his Spanish confidence. We recommend Transition…

Starting as a TY student, I remember every one of my teachers telling me that same golden piece of advice: “You will get as much out of this transition year as you put into it”.
And so, I set out to learn, discover and see as much as possible. With the help of my parents and the team at Transition Spain, within a few weeks of attending a Meet & Greet conference, I found myself landing in Granada.
In all honesty, being the 15-year-old girl I was, I initially felt like a bundle of nerves at …

I heard about Transition Spain through my sister, as my nephew had attended the immersion course in Granada in both 2023 and 2024.
Both of them were extremely enthusiastic about the company: the quality of care provided by the host families, the attention paid to the individual students to ensure their interests were catered for, and finally, the excellent communication between the Irish parents and the TS staff.
I had great communication throughout the booking and payment process. Whilst …

The classes were fun and created a really nice atmosphere where I felt comfortable to make mistakes. This experience boosted my confidence hugely with speaking Spanish—I found myself using the language more naturally. The team was incredibly welcoming and friendly, always supportive and ready to help. Their positive energy made each session something I looked forward to. I’d highly recommend this program to anyone looking to improve their Spanish in an energetic and encouraging environment. ¡Muc…

Your programme is fantastic! Thank you for running such a memorable trip for our son… You guys are amazing and he’s had the best time. We can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done to give C. and his friends the educational trip of a lifetime. If ever do a similar trip for adults, count us in!

A belated text to thank you & all the team at Transition Spain! She has incredible memories from her time in Granada. The program is so well organised & structured. With classes in the morning & fun activities organised each afternoon. And her Spanish improved so much. Your communication with all the parents from start to finish was exceptional. I was very impressed. We loved getting the daily updates. I have 2 more daughters so they look forward to being part of the program in a few years.

Transition Spain was more of a cultural experience for me. I had a decent level of Spanish and could communicate well, so my time in Granada allowed me to learn and appreciate a new culture. From touring around Granada on segways, visiting the Alhambra, to going skiing in Sierra Nevada, I personally enjoyed all of the little things in between just as much or even more. The conversations I shared with my host grandmother, movies I watched and games that I played with the three kids in my host fam…

I first heard of Transition Spain from a parent whose son had experienced a month-long trip away with Transition Spain during the Easter period. He had enjoyed his time with Transition Spain so much that he returned that same summer. That was good enough for me so I began the enrolment process for my daughter. The responses I received from Transition Spain from the very beginning were superb (and I had a lot of questions!). They replied promptly and answered all my questions. I enrolled my daugh…

I went to Granada for a month in March and it was such an amazing experience. From the first day, I felt really welcomed, and the whole month flew by. It was the perfect mix of learning, exploring, and meeting new people. Granada is a really beautiful city, and for such a small place there is so much history and culture there. I’d definitely go back if I had the chance. Compared to Dublin, Granada felt much more relaxed. We always felt safe there, and loved being able to walk around and take it …
